Perisher Blue

Description Pictures Facts
Situated in the Kosciusko National Park, Perisher Blue consists of Perisher, Smiggins, Guthega and Blue Cow. Perisher Blue is Australia’s biggest ski resort with plenty of room to move for everybody, great on snow accommodation and ample facilities.
Perisher Blue Ski Resort is located well above the snow line. It’s the elevation and enormous spread that offers great boarding and skiing, boasting a massive grooming fleet, the largest in Australia, state of the art equipment and experienced, service focused staff that understand the importance of a properly groomed mountain. There is 34.5 ha of snowmaking at Perisher Blue, so when mother nature holds back they have it covered.

Getting to Perisher Blue is easy. The closest airports to Perisher Blue are Cooma and Canberra, both offering coach transfers. Perisher Blue is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney or 7 hours from Melbourne with half the distance on freeway standard roads. From Jindabyne access by road to Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is via the Kosciuszko Road, with snow chains required to be carried by all vehicles past the National Park entrance. It’s an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather.
