Rustic huts, sunny terraces and trendy snow-bars invite you to linger on. Gtsaad Mountain Rides comprises six independent ski regions. Included is the Glacier 3000 - the only glacial area in the Berner Oberland - with a guaranteed offer of winter enjoyment from November until the beginning of May.
Snowboard fans can be sure to expect action, snow parks, and cool runs. Beginners, connoisseurs and free riders will all be in exactly the right place at Gstaad Mountain Rides. Located 202 km from Zurich and 150 km from Geneva Gstaad can easily be reached using either a car or public transportation. Please take into consideration, that cars are not allowed inside Gstaad and have to be parked outside. A car trip from Geneva to Gstaad should take approximately 2 hours while the journey from Zurich would be 2 hours 40 minutes. If you decide to take a train, swiss federal railway will take you from Geneva to Gstaad in 2 hours 30 minutes with transfer in Montreux. The trip from Zurich to Gstaad via Bern will take about 3 hours with transfers in Spiez and Zweisimmen.
