Located 93 km from Zurich Engelberg can easily be accessed by either car or public transportation. If you decide to go by car take the expressway direction Gotthard, Luzern and switch to the A2 once in Luzern. Take the exit “Stans-Süd” towards Engelberg. The whole journey from Zurich takes about 1 hour 3 minutes. Swiss federal railway will take you to Engelberg with transfer in Luzern in 2 hours 7 minutes.
