Davos "Magic Mountain" attracts snowboarding and skiing enthusiasts from all over the world. Its high-tech mountain railways offer access to five extensive skiing areas.
5 skiing areas with over 310 km of marked runs, 110 descents of every level of difficulty, 19.3 km of which with snow canons. In Davos you can really start from the top - a whole 12 km from the Weissfluhgipfel (2,844 m) to Küblis covering 2,034 m of difference in altitude.
Davos has been a snowboarders' converging point for years. A wide selection of runs, of national and international competitions, snowboard hotels, specialty stores and schools are making snowboarders' dreams come true.
Located 145 km from Zurich Davos can easily be reached using either a car or public transportation. Swiss federal railway will take you to Davos via Landquart in about 2 hours 30 minutes. If you decide to come by car you need to get towards Chur, taking the expressway and then Davos where you should arrive after a journey of about 1 hour 50 minutes.
