Breckenridge

Description Pictures Facts
Breckenridge lets you experience winter at 9,600 feet. The almost 150-year-old Victorian town in the heart of the Colorado Rockies lures with a wide array of winter activities. Whether you desire fresh air and sunshine, playing hard and breaking sweat, or the pursuit of fine art, music and a scrumptious meal, this historic mining town offers it all. You can wake up every day to a new adventure. Imagine yourself gliding down a mountain in fresh powder, steering a snowmobile above treeline or perhaps guiding a team of dogs through aspen trees. Enjoy a relaxing sleigh ride, explore the many historical sites, take in the local art, indulge in a spa treatment, and experience live theater. From athletes to honeymooners, Breckenridge does it all.

Located about 98 miles west of Denver and 110 miles from Colorado Springs, Breckenridge is an easy destination to travel to. As most travellers fly into Denver International Airport or Colorado Springs Airport, both locations provide easy ground transportation. Arriving from Denver, take the I-70 heading west and take the Exit 203, on Highway 9 and head south to Breckenridge. Arriving from Colorado Springs, drive west on Route 24 through South Park and over Hossier Pass (Rt. 9), or via I-25 to C-470 and further onto I-70 west, where you would take exit 203, and drive south on Highway 9 to Breckenridge.
