Located 186 km from Zurich and 225 km from Geneva Adelboden can be reached by either using public transportation or a car. Coming from Geneva the swiss federal railway will take you to Adelboden 3 hours 30 minutes with transfer in Bern, Frutigen and possibly Lausanne. If you decide to take the car take the A1 expressway to Lausanne switch onto the A12 to Bern and from there the A6 to Spiez. Once in Spiez the main road will lead you directly to Frutigen-Adelboden. Coming from Zurich the swiss federal railway will get you to Adelboden in 2 hours 25 minutes with transfer in Frutigen and possibly Bern. If you decide to take the car take the A1 to Bern switch onto the A6 going to Spiez and from there the main road to Frutigen-Adelboden.
