Lower Zambezi National Park is located in the downstream from Lake Kariba and opposite Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe, is Zambia’s newest park. It is at this point along the mighty Zambezi that the river forms little reed islands, which is home and feeding ground for a myriad of wildlife.
The river is filled with Hippos and crocodiles that inhabit the river in abundance.
