With a size of over 21, 000 square kilometers, Tsavo National Park is the largest national park in Kenya. Due to its size, the park was divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West. It is located between Nairobi and Mombasa. Most of the park consists of semi-arid grasslands and savanna. It is considered one of the world's biodiversity strongholds, and its popularity is mostly due to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife that can be seen. The park also offers camping and several geographical points of interest.
