The Victoria Falls are the greatest Cascades in the World and are situated at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Over a width of nearly two kilometers into a deep gorge over 100 meters below falls the Zambezi River. The falls and the surrounding area have been declared as a national park. They form a remarkable spectacle because of their geography as the water falls into a narrow slot-like gap and so one can view the falls face-on.
