The world famous Kruger National Park offers its visitors a game population that is considered as one of the most diverse and interesting in Africa. The park has been developed in the year 1898 to protect the wildlife in South Africa. Today the National Park with a size of around 2 Million hectares is world wide unique with the diversity of living forms. The largest game reserve in South Africa is home for a variety of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians-, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals can be met here. Important archaeological foundations such as Mosirini and Thulamela show that this fascinating area has already been a living area several centuries ago and was shared by humans.
