Mount Fuji

Description
Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in all Japan, indeed. Its summit is 3,776 meters above sea level. One can be seen from Tokyo on a clear day. Scientists believe that Mt. Fuji was formed in four distinct phases of volcanic activity. The volcano is currently classified as active with low risk of eruption. The last recorded eruption occurred in 1707. Most climb during the night to watch the sun rise in the morning.
