In ancient times Cappadocia was an extensive district close to Turkey and part of the Persian Empire.
Cappadocian region is where nature and history come together most beautifully in the world. Geographic events are the fairy chimneys and during the historical period, humans had carried signs of thousand year old civilizations with carving houses and churches. Houses are constructed of stone and most of the time also in the stone of mountains. Many of them are listed in the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
