Angel Falls is located in the Guayana highlands of Venezuela. This Waterfall is the highest in the world with 979 m of fall into the devil’s canyon. In total it is 15 times higher than the Niagara Falls. The water tumbles down of a flat top mountain, known as “tepuy”. The Angel’s Falls were named after the American aviator that discovered them in 1937.
