Lake Erie

Description
Lake Erie is the eleventh largest freshwater lake in the world. The largest River ending in this lake is the Detroit River. Of all Great Lakes, Lake Erie is the warmest and most biologically productive. Its fishery is widely considered to be the best in the world. Also its water provided for waterborne commerce, navigation, manufacturing and power production has led to intensive industrial development. The moderate temperatures have also encouraged tourism industry and agriculture.
