Across the lagoon on a private island, the new One & Only Le Touessrok Golf Course is destined to become one of the wonders of the game.The island is just perfect for golf. It has a coastline of little bays, inlets and promontories – natural undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a profusion of tropical trees and plants. All 18 holes have views of the ocean. Situated on the East Coast, the Course is just across a coral lagoon from the 5-star resort of One & Only Le Touessrok, on its very own tropical island and is reached by a 'golfing special' water taxi. There are nine lakes in all, with a number of holes requiring tee shots across sea inlets to the fairways. Bernard Langer has designed the course to challenge advanced players, while remaining exciting and playable for recreational golfers.
