Emirates Golf Club (Majlis)

The Emirates Golf Club was the original home of the Dubai Desert Classic. The Majlis Championship course is a challenging par 72, 7211-yard course opened in 1987. The course is positioned around the original tall desert dunes and was the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic for ‘meeting place’. Indeed, one of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis building itself, positioned between the 8th and 9th holes.
