Durban Country Club

The Durban Country Club golf course is one of the best golf courses in South Africa. The course is located at the beach of the Indian Ocean and has been masterly sculpted into the dunes. The course was opened in 1922 and updated in 1959. The Durban Country Club has many difficult holes making it very challenging and hard to master even for the most advanced golfers. The 12th hole with its raised green is also called the Prince of Wales hole. The Prince played the course in 1924, and needed 17 strokes to complete this hole. The Durban Country Club targets the most experienced golfers.
