Very nice and Luxurious accommodations are attractively scattered throughout a magnificent palm grove, overlooking the Atlantic. Three hotel pools dot our manicured grounds, as do seven hidden Atlantic beach coves, nestled into a splendid panorama of tropical foliage and dramatic shorelines. Bikes can get you to any point of interest in Stella Maris, and our excursions and rental cars give you the entire island! Daily programs offer superb from-shore snorkeling and island sightseeing. Ours is one of the longest and best-established dive operations of the Bahamas. We specialize in guest-selected dive excursions. Long Island is uncrowded, socially stable and peaceful. Some 35 quaint villages and prosperous farming towns house some 3500 inhabitants, the island's main industries being farming and fishing.
