Hotel Description
Hotel Kaštel*** is situated in the little ancient Istrian town Motovun, on the summit surrounded with boundary walls. From the altitude of 277 m above sea level it offers an unforgettable view on the Mirna river valley, on the Motovun wood and on the untouched nature with ancient towns of central Istria. Motovun is 25 km far from the sea (Poreč).
All 28 rooms (1 exclusive) and two suites are equipped with TV-SAT, telephone line with internet connection, WC/shower and central heating. Every room offers a different view, so special and unique, impossible to describe. The hotel has its own, well cured shady park with benches and sunbathing areas. The assembly room in the hotel and the proximity of the congress hall makes the Kaštel a perfect place for workshops, meetings, courses…
In the a la carte restaurant (air conditioned) or on one of hotel terraces in the centenarian chestnuts shadow we offer you the opportunity to taste the culinary specialties of this part of Istria. And of course, we are especially proud of our Istrian truffles and original Istrian desserts including sweet ravioli (cooked or fried), followed by desserts which combine the red wine teran, of a particularly intense color, with fruit and ricotta cheese. A nice cafe-bar and the art-gallery completely fill the tale about our romantic and comfortable hotel.
