Organised by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the nationwide Light the Night Walk strives to promote awareness and raise funds needed to cure blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma.
Held on a number of days in September and October, the distance and route also vary depending on State, but on average the race is about 2-3 miles and takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. Funds raised go to research on cancer as well as to help improve the quality of life for sufferers and their families.
Please visit the Light The Night Walk website for information on a walk near you.
