Kidfest, at the Enzian Theater in Maitland, has grown out of a kids' summer mini-series into a week-long celebration of film for children. There are screenings of old and new films, as well as Young Filmmakers' Summer Camp.
The camp gives children hands-on film experience while teaching them the art of storytelling and giving them the chance to see their finished work projected on the big screen.
