Known for its epic skiing and endless backcountry, Jackson Hole offers skiers and boarders of all levels varied terrain with a breathtaking backdrop. Non-skiers can explore the lower mountains on a snowmobile excursion, a great way to experience the area's natural beauty without exerting oneself.
The town even has three different spas, which range from the small and Native American-influenced Wilderness Spa at Spring Ranch to the five-star Avanyu Day Spa at the Snake River Lodge. Shopaholics should head to the town square, which is crammed with art galleries and boutiques.
Jackson Hole's nightlife is almost as famous as its skiing - head to the infamous Mangy Moose for live bands and rowdy après ski. The Snake River Brewing Company is a renowned microbrewery, popular with locals and a good place for a cheap meal.
