Get medieval on your family by sending them 400 years into the past to hang out with knights in shining armour, court jesters and Henry VIII, at Larkspur's Renaissance Festival.
This award-laden family festival takes place in a "medieval village" every Saturday and Sunday from June to August - a purpose-built 16th-century playground that nestles in the beautiful mountains of Larkspur, Colorado.
Visitors can enjoy more than 60 shows daily, full-armour combat jousting, music, comedy, a marketplace filled with artisans selling their wares and gourmet dining fit for would-be kings and queens.
