Camp Bestival is the little sister festival of Bestival and takes place at Lulworth Castle next to the Dorset coast, with an emphasis on family fun and fantastic camping.
Headlining the music line-up over the weekend are rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry, psychedelic minstrels The Flaming Lips and young British singer-songwriter Kate Nash.
Other highlights include The Imagined Village, Hercules & Love Affair, Billy Bragg, dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, King Creosote, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Dub Pistols Sound System. There is also a full line-up of DJs featuring Rob da Bank, Andrew Wetherall, DJ Yoda and Gilles Peterson.
The large Kids Area is a veritable wonderland for little ones with a big top, a dressing-up tent and a bouncy castle. There is a separate toddler's area and the Breastival Mother and Baby Temple for mums with extra-little ones.
As the name suggests the organisers aim to provide the best camping experience possible, with lots of campfires, self-catering BBQ areas and better shower and toilet facilities.
The Cuban Brothers are set to lead the Bestival Bluecoats around the site making merriment, while the comedy tent features acts including Roy Walker's "Catchphrase", Andrew Maxwell presenting "Full Mooners", The Pros From Dover, Phil Nichol, Glenn Wool and Craig Campbell.
