An eight-minute trip on the Cairngorm Mountain funicular railway takes visitors up to the Ptarmigan Top Station, where there are breathtaking views over Britain's largest national park, not to mention a shop, terrace, mountain exhibition and restaurant. The mountain offers skiing in the winter and fantastic vistas in the summer.
