The Dickinson's Brockbushes Fruit Farm in Tyne and Wear sports its own farm shop and runs a tea room. During the summer months, vistors are invited to make the most of the Pick-Your-Own, offering strawberries, raspberries, currants and gooseberries.
The farm is one of a growing number that has been accredited through the Farmers Retail Association's unique scheme, awarded for the standard of farm produce, service and commitment to environmentally sustainable farming methods.
While you're there, visit the extensively stocked farm shop, boasting organic dairy, some 40 cheese varieties, jams and organic salmon from Scotland.
