Bookworms are in literary heaven at Basel's massive international book fair, BuchBasel, held at Messe Basel's cavernous exhibition centre.
Almost anything in print is available at this book and media fair, from the top titles in children's literature to dusty antiquarian books with yellowing pages. A wide selection of newspapers, journals, music, calendars and cards are also on offer. Basel's literature festival takes place at the same time, featuring the work of celebrated writers from around the globe.
