The AMR (Association for Improvised Music) Jazz festival has now become an annual rendezvous for jazz enthusiasts in Geneva. The concerts take place in the Alhambra.
The AMR was founded in 1971 to promote and encourage all forms of improvised music, especially jazz but also contemporary music. It has managed to retain a great authenticity and charm due to its diversity and small size.
