The Gothenburg Party, known locally as Goteborgskalaset, is the largest outdoor festival in Sweden and takes over every inch of Gothenburg for a week of free and cultural fun in all its guises.
Numerous parties are held, with well-known artists (mainly Swedish) performing a variety of live shows. Expect plenty of pyrotechnics too.
