Every year the 4-day Karlshamn Baltic Festival brings a giant free party to the streets, as well as many attractions on and in the water nearby, with artists, singers, musicians and other entertainers from all over the Baltic.

Highlights include a Baltic song contest and the Pea Soup race; a small sailing boat race after which the winners are rewarded with a steaming bowl of pea soup. Nice!
