The International Science Festival in Gothenburg explores ideas from the humanities and social sciences, medicine, science and technology. Venues throughout the city participate, including cafes, shopping malls and cinemas. The festival theme for 2007 is taken from the world of biology, with strong links with botanist Carl von Linné.
Lectures, films, workshops and other educational activities are all on the menu for the grown-ups, while a satellite school programme keeps the younger ones occupied.
