The C2 City Challenge in Stockholm is the first multi-sport competition to take place inside a city, where the public can get a close-up view.
The challenge takes participants canoeing in fresh and saltwater, (lifting canoes over locks) and orienteering through the crowded city, as well as in the peaceful nature reserve of Nacka outside Stockholm. On top of this, there's mountain biking on well-prepared bike passages and peaceful bike paths, over streams with or without ropes, and lastly, climbing down buildings and natural mountain formations.
