You don't have to go to Egypt to see some of the best hip gyrations on the planet - the ancient art of the belly dance hits Stockholm at the Riddarfjaerdsskolan (Swedish Ballet School).
This annual dance festival focuses on the rich and fascinating history of belly dancing. Either join in for some dance instruction yourself with the world's leading experts (all levels of belly size and pelvic flexibility are catered for), or just enjoy the evening shows - especially the introductory gala performances, which are especially colourful. There's even an oriental bazaar and some fortune-telling to get everyone into the spirit of things.
