Just 100 metres from the infamous Space, Bora Bora combines the glories of a day at the beach with the hard-house sounds of DJ Gee and others. Like Space, this is a daytime affair, and it offers free entry.

At lunchtime the music is more chilled, but later in the afternoon and into the evening the party begins, moving inside at midnight. A key date on the Bora Bora calendar is the opening party, which, in 2008, is on Friday 30 May.

Since DJ Gee started the club back in 1997, Bora Bora has become something of an institution - stagger there after Manumission or at about 6pm on Sunday after a day at Space and get dancing on the tables.

This is definitely one of the best afters on the island. Just don't be surprised if it gets a little messy...
