Tango enthusiasts and great performers from all over the world flock to Ljubljana for the annual Tango Festival, based at the Cankarjev dom (Ljubljana's Congress and Cultural Centre) and the Tango Cafe.

Expect to see the likes of previous world champions in tango de salo, Osvaldo and Coca, internationally acclaimed Osvaldo Zotto & Lorena Ermocida, and Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa, famous for their magical interpretations of the tango-waltz, all of whom have appeared in previous festivals.

In 2008, with Slovenia taking the presidency of the European Union, the festival is expected to be the best yet - so there could be no better time to learn the tango at the Congress and Cultural Centre or dance all day long at the Tango Cafe.
