Exit, one of Europe's largest music festivals, takes place in the Petrovaradin Fortress in Serbia's second city, Novi Sad. Highlights of the 2008 line-up include Manu Chao, Soulwax, Primal Scream, The Hives and Sex Pistols.
Other highlights of the extensive programme include M.I.A., Paul Weller, Laurent Garnier, The Gossip, Francois K and Sven Vath.
The festival takes place within the walls of Novi Sad's Napoleonic fortress, built high on the banks of the River Danube, and has attracted widespread critical acclaim not only for consistently top quality line-ups, but also for the organisation and remarkable value it offers compared to others around Europe.
The Fortress site houses 11 performance arenas including the Main Stage and Dance Stage. There's also an extreme sports arena, a technology zone, an NGO zone and an open-air cinema, while accommodation includes camping and hotels.
Please visit the festival website for full details of the programme.
