The Moscow Yacht Festival in Gorky Park features charity concerts, boat racing, competitions and entertainment for the whole family. Yachts are on offer to buy and owners can even bring their boats along.
Highlights include the Star Regatta, a televised show with Russian celebrities who form yachting teams, learn to sail and compete for a prize.
The charity concerts feature Russian and foreign musicians like Mumiy Troll, Zemfira and Mashina Vremeni. The Green Concert aims to raise funds for the ecology of the Moskva River, the Azure Concert supports the development of children's sailing as a sport in Russia, and the White Concert raises funds for seriously ill children.
Awards are presented in such categories as Best Yacht Club, Best Shipyard and Best Boat Dealer, with the most respected yachting figures and journalists from Russia forming the panel.
