Located in Parque das Nações, the Oceanarium is a popular aquarium, home to sea creatures of four coastal habitats. Linking these is the Global Ocean, a two-storey tank of sharks, rays and giant one-tonne sun fish.
Lisbon's Oceanarium is one of the city's most popular family attractions. The four different habitats represent the coasts of the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific and Tropical Indian oceans.
The Global Ocean spans the height of the building. Thousands of species of fish, bird and mammal can be seen both above and below water.
