Warsaw's Poster Museum at Wilanow, housed within the estate's menagerie building, opened its doors on 4 June 1968. It is home to one of the largest collections of poster art in the world - a truly impressive 55,000 individual items, over half of which are Polish designs.
The museum is divided into various galleries, concentrating on Polish poster history, as well as examples of international work. There is an annual programme of special exhibitions, as well as the International Poster Biennale every other year, celebrating its 40th birthday and 20th festival in 2006.
