Oslo's Frognerbadet fills with top acts each summer for Norway's favourite annual music festival - Norwegian Wood. Headliners in 2008 are Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Madrugada and Alanis Morissette.

Other acts performing include Dinosaur Jr., Rufus Wainwright and Jimmy Eat World.

This festival is one of the largest events on the country's musical calendar. Since its inception in 1992 it has consistently attracted world-class performers such as Van Morrison and Bob Dylan, as well as showcasing a variety of Scandinavia's finest artists.

If the weather is good, this is a great chance to sit around in the park and listen to good music, in the relaxed atmosphere of one of Europe's greenest and most environmentally-friendly capitals.
