Opened in 1950, the Bergen Aquarium (Akvariet i Bergen) is home to a small colony of seals as well as a host of local, tropical and southern hemisphere species, including ever-popular penguins. There are even snakes, lizards, Cuban crocodiles and marmosets to keep youngsters amazed and entertained. Watch as various animals are fed and trained, and if it's your birthday, then you can get a special guided tour, ending with a 3D film spectacular in the cinema.
