Parkpop began in 1981 with an audience of 15,000. Now around 350,000 people every year head for the Zuider Park in the Hague for the largest free pop festival in Europe. Sheryl Crow tops the bill for 2008.
Other highlights include The Proclaimers, Morgan Heritage and Orishas. Visitors of all ages help to make this festival special and the event's unique party spirit lives on. There is a great diversity of international acts to choose from, while the lures of a pop market, a kiddies area and the "no trouble, no fights and no accidents" record of the organisers make it a real winner.
