Historically, the idyllic Frankendael Park was where rich Amsterdammers soaked up the sun. With a botanical garden that includes over 500 varieties of wild plants and trees and a peaceful secret garden, it's no wonder. The park is also home to the Frankendael house, one of very few remaining stately homes in Amsterdam.
