Monte Carlo's Gastronomy Fair invites visitors to get lost among the heady scents of herbs and spices, this year's theme.
When you have finished sniffing pots of saffron and cinnamon, troughs of curry and ginger, vanilla pods and fragrant cloves, stroll among the 120 stalls, manned by everyone from South East France's Slow Food association to Monaco's top sommeliers and restaurateurs.
This year's challenge to the chefs is to create an original chocolate piece, based on the theme "The Chocolate Woman".
