Now a traditional three-day island event, the annual Cozumel Boat Rodeo and Fishing Tournament (Rodeo de Lanchas Mexicanas) returns once again.
Over 100 boats full of locals and visitors to the island set out to fish the biggest and best blue and white marlin, wahoo, dorado, tuna and barracuda. The first, second and third winners are each presented a truck, whilst the best captain and the best sailor are awarded motorbikes to zip about the island on.
