The Bosque de Chapultepec has been called the lungs of Mexico City. The park is set on a hill and has a special symbolism for Mexicans as the Aztecs made it their first settlement in the area as they moved south through the country. The park is the largest in the city and a good place to relax. On top of the hill sits a sumptuous castle, former home of Emperor Maximilian, in which you can find the Natural History Museum. The city's zoo and a number of other museums are also set within the grounds of the park.
