Malta Jazz Festival

Every July a popular jazz festival enlivens the 16th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site of Valletta, capital of Malta. Established in 1990, the festival attracts world-renowned jazz musicians to perform on the Grand Harbour of this beautiful, seaside town.

The festival always presents an eclectic range of musical talent. Last year's line-up included Australian Pink Floyd, Zucchero, Tribali and the Wailers. This year's programme is published on the festival website as soon as it is available.

The venue for the concerts, Ta'Liesse, is beside the Grand Harbour, below the floodlit bastions of Malta's baroque fortress walls. Tickets can be bought on the day, or booked in advance from the festival website.
