The largest book fair in the Baltic is held annually at the Lithuanian Exhibition Centre in Vilnius. More than 55,000 visitors enjoy a range of literary and cultural events, from symposiums to exhibitions.
Aiming to appeal to a broad range of people, the fair runs programmes in languages including Russian, English, French and Polish and offers special events for children, including storytelling sessions.
Among this year's guests is best-selling American novelist and Academy Award-winning screenwriter John Irving, author of bestellers such as The World According to Garp and A Widow for One Year.
