The National Philharmonic Society of Lithuania (LNPh) in Vilnius is the largest concert venue in the country. Named a national cultural institution in 1998, it unites the best in Lithuanian performers, with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Vilnius String Quartet and the M K Ciurlionis String Quartet all performing regularly in the Concert Hall and Chamber Hall.
Aside from a regular concert programme, the LNPh organises symphonic and chamber music concerts in Lithuania and abroad, solo recitals and concerts with special guest performances. It also hosts concerts for the Vilnius Festival in June, the Gaida Contemporary Music Festival and the St Christopher Summer Music Festival.
