Every year the people of Cerveteri celebrate their pride in the region's two most important agricultural products: the local grapes and the delicious wine that is made from them.
The highlights of this grape and wine festival are costumed processions of historical floats and various equestrian competitions, which include races and acrobatic displays. There is also the Fraschetto d'Oro, an agricultural produce competition.
The programme includes a range of music, dancing, games and general merriment, all against the backdrop of free wine tastings.
